As INA and Japan were defeated in that war – otherwise, President Eisenhower would have been, surely brought before the court of the neutral nations and like Hitler would have been charged with crime against humanity and punished.  I still believe that USA will one day declare and admit what made them to commit such heinous and barbarous act, before the world court. British army committed the fourth heinous and uncivilized barbarous act. Civilized UK is the owner of that inhuman act. The crime to destroy the memorial built to honor the martyrs ‘Sahid Miner’ on the bank of the sea at Singapore.  One can’t compare, yet I will compare this act with the remarkable deed by Aswathama during war of kurukshetra, when at the end of the war he entered the camp of pandava’s in the night and when ever one was sleeping, killed all their children. Such heinous act is beyond comparison. But I though, I will say – Aswathama is immortal.

Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose "The forgotten HERO"

As he is born again in this world, in the form of Louis Mountbatten. Aswathama lost his mental balance after committing that heinous act and he was not overwhelmed with that act and crime. For the defeated soldier, expression of revenge is one natural thing, but to kick the graveyards of the defeated army by the winners is another thing. However, Aswathama was not a Chatriya, and hence can’t be expected or hoped the behaviors like a chatriya; but Lord Louis Mountbatten was the cousin brother of the King of England. The blue blood of the so called civilized English people was expected to flowing in this cousin’s vain.

On the same night, Netaji with his most reliable war advisors sat for a urgent meeting to decide future actions etc. on the same day Mr. AN Sarkar reached Singapore from Bangkok. We however decided that Netaji will remain in Singapore and surrender himself along with his INA solders before the British Army. Before any final decision was taken, we had a long discussion on that subject. He not only attended this meeting peacefully, he was cutting jokes too, often in between. The discussion took a different turn after the arrival of Mr. Sarkar. Someone of us proposed if INA wants to surrender at Singapore, let it do so but let Netaji along with his important advisors, hide somewhere else. In that case, a new chapter may be written in the history of India’s war of Independence. Many people thought that the conservative UK and capitalist USA were compelled to extend their hands of friendship only for the time being. After the war is over, this friendship will not stay long. Most probably Russia and British will form an opposite camp. The war between the capitalist and conservatives are not very far off. However, it seemed difficult for Netaji to organize India’s war of Independence concealing his desire to make India free, India will be free very soon.

Netaji objected to this and said you are making a mistake. It won’t be impossible for India to achieve her freedom within two years. Think once, if I surrender today, what would happen then? The English will try me as a war criminal, but where? Britain will not dare to try me somewhere here in East Asia. It is for them impossible to try me anywhere in Singapore –Bangkok or Rangoon. Hence, try in Delhi – most probably in the Red Fort. And undoubtedly, they will declare me as a war criminal and try there. That means they will hang me or kill me with the help of their firing squad. There after, I am rest assure that India will be free within a month. Because, then the British propagandist would not be able to suppress the news of the INA’s role in the war of India’s freedom. India then turn into a fire ball and my death will ignite that fire. It is quite certain. Secondly, what else could happen? The English may then release me. In that event not Russia but I will start fast into death protest from within India. So, there can’t be any loss from any corner, if I surrender.

It was an undefeatable reasoning of his. This reasoning he has shown before too and he was so determined for that. He was determined to surrender to the British Army along with his associate army officers from INA.
